It is me, my son – (2011)

DSCF0095_4

It is me, my son, and you who’s inspired great change
Before you, I was wandering deserted plains.
It is you, who stopped the winds from blowing
With no sail to go, I started quickly rowing.
It is us, together hand in hand
walking tall, we travel barren lands.
It is life, which breathes breaths through the air
breathing passion for the love that we share.
It is the moon, that hovers close above
reflecting back the deepness of our love.
It is the sun, immense just like your smile
and when it fails, we’ll remain here for a while.
It is time, whose hours and minutes must yield
because our bond contains more than starry fields.
It is love, and there’s no wound it cannot mend
That’s how I feel for you, from now until the end.
